This office project, completed in 2004, is located in the loading area of Montevideo International Airport, Uruguay.
The program required two executive offices and a reception area, which were to maintain the firm’s corporate aesthetics, all of which was to be done under a really tight budget.
Based on the orientation and on the only access to the premises, the program was resolved maximizing the natural lighting to create a comfortable working environment. This was accomplished by steel structure partitions with glass panels alternating clear and translucent strips. Playing with the layout and horizontality of said strips we succeeded in creating a wider spatial feel in an already constrained space.
The result was a functional, comfortable, well-illuminated space, resolved with a really tight budget.
